Position Overview

We are seeking a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) for an in-person school-based assignment in Lompoc California. This role supports students in achieving functional and academic success through therapeutic interventions in an educational setting. Candidates with a temporary COTA certification are welcome to apply.

Key Responsibilities

Provide occupational therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals
Assist the Occupational Therapist in implementing treatment plans
Support students with fine motor skills sensory integration and daily living activities
Document services and student progress accurately and timely
Collaborate with teachers therapists and school staff
Maintain compliance with school and therapy guidelines

Requirements

Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) credential
California COTA certification required
- Temporary CA COTA certification accepted
Ability to work in-person in a school-based environment
Strong communication and collaboration skills
