Were seeking a reliable and dedicated full-time Billing Specialist to support our Crisis Programs in Virginia.

Your Role in Our Mission

The Billing Specialist plays a key role in ensuring accurate and timely revenue for our Crisis Programs by managing day-to-day billing reconciliation and claims activities across internal and external systems. This position reviews and resolves claim errors investigates unpaid or denied claims and partners closely with program staff leadership and managed care organizations to support clean claims and reduce denials. The role also plays a hand in financial reporting budgeting and process improvement efforts using data and analytics to strengthen billing practices and support the programs.

This position works a MondayFriday 8:00am5:00pm schedule. Training will be conducted onsite in Woodbridge VA after which the role will transition to a hybrid schedule.

What Were Looking For

Education: Minimum of a High School Diploma
Experience: Minimum of 3 years experience managing EHR systems with a strong preference for at least 2 years of experience billing Medicaid Medicare private insurance and MCOs.
Skills: Proficiency in EOB interpretation and strong technical aptitude.
Maintain a valid drivers license good driving record and current auto insurance.
