About therole.

McCain Foods is now accepting applications for a Sanitation Laborer to work a 12-hour DAY SHIFT at our Burley ID facility. Under limited supervision the Sanitation Laborer performs any of a variety of cleaning and sanitation work in all areas of the plant following established sanitation standards procedures and practices. The sanitation laborer uses a variety of equipment such as high pressure hoses and cleaning chemicals during their shift. The sanitation laborer completes all assigned work on a daily basis while working in a safe manner following all safety rules including LOTO and JSAs. This position supports Production and Quality Control.

Whatyoullbe doing.

Performs deep cleaning and sanitizing of equipment as listed in SanitationSOPs.

Cleans and sanitizes the production and packaging areas and other areas as assigned.

Flushes scrubs and sanitizes ceilings walls floors overheadpipesand other areas as assigned cleans and wipes lights and electrical cords.

Cleans mats carts and buckets used in the production areaon a daily basis.

Measure and mixesappropriate chemicalcleaning agents per specification.

Refills and distributes chemical cleaning agent containers as needed.

Understand and be familiar with the inventory control process and procedure within sanitation department.

Uses high pressure cleaning apparatuses and mixes and applies potentially hazardous chemical compounds and solutions

Whatyoullneed to be successful.

Must have the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rulesoperatingand maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.

Must have ability towriteroutine reports andcorrespondence andspeak effectively before groups of customers or employees.

Must havedemonstratedcomputer skills and experience with the ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment where multi-tasking isrequired.

Benefits oftherole.

Hourly rate: $19.96 - $22.17

$1.50 shift differential for graveyard positions.

Compensation Package:$ - $ Starting at 19.96 USD hourly Bonus eligibility Hourly Pay Differential for applicable shifts

The above reflects the target compensation range for the position at the time of posting. Hiring compensation will be determined based on experience skill set education and training and other organizational needs.
