Position Duties/Responsibilities
- Counsel prospective students with regard to admissions transfer credit residency and other university polices
- Assist prospective students in person over the phone texting video messaging and via email
- Manage a recruitment territory by managing the number of inquiries applicants and enrolled students
- Enter prospective student data into the Student Information System and/or Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system as well as maintain and run reports for the assigned territories
- Maintain current knowledge of Banner (Student Information System) Radius (CRM) BDM (scanning system) Argos and other systems used by the University
- Travel during and after normal business hours to represent the university at recruitment events and activities year round
- Prepare and send correspondence to applicants
- Maintain recruiting reports for all recruiting events attended
- Conduct recruitment presentations on and off campus
- Build mutually beneficial positive working relationships with assigned high school counselors and counterparts at other institutions
- Maintain a positive working relationship with faculty and staff in all departments
- Organize and plan outreach opportunities with community leaders organizations and groups
- Plan travel according to state travel guidelines
- Conduct all duties in a manner which provides a positive reflection of the University
- Complete all other duties as assigned by the Director of Recruiting or the Executive Director for Enrollment Management
Required/Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelors degree from a regionally accredited institution
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Willing to extensively travel and work non-traditional hours
- Highly self-motivated
- Effective multi-tasking and organizational skills
