This position is in Cargills food and bioindustrialbusiness where manufacturers retailers and foodservice companies rely on us to consistently deliver the products and services they need and use our technical expertise and market knowledge to develop innovative products.

Job Purpose and Impact

The Procurement Specialist Innovation & Marketing will apply detailed knowledge to support the most complex procurement administrative tasks and work processes for multiple sourcing categories and locations including process transaction and records events and relationships following established procedures and this role you will solve complex technical and customer support issues and will implement sourcing strategies.

Key Accountabilities

  • Execute related transactions ensuring the purchase order process completion in alignment with strategic sourcing strategies and policies to ensure invoice discrepancy resolution.
  • Assist building and cultivating relationships with external stakeholders to ensure smooth processes.
  • Prepare complex summary reports to support key teams.
  • Inform internal stakeholders on the domain process procedures and requirements.
  • Facilitate the implementation of process changes in alignment with established strategies and policies.
  • Update related documents for processes requiring minimal interpretation and for review and approval by more senior team members.
  • Assist relevant stakeholders on maintaining tracking mechanisms for complex performance metrics reporting on value captured at the local level and with process improvement efforts.
  • Handle complex clerical administrative technical or customer support issues under minimal supervision while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma secondary education level or equivalent
  • Minimum of four years of related work experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience using SAP for purchasing and invoice payment
  • Experience supporting marketing or R&D functions
  • Knowledge of Cargills procure to pay process flow

Position Information

The expected salary for this position is $44000 $65000. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific location certifications education and level of experience. The disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.
