Responsibilities
Located in the heart of the Central Valley Clovis Community Medical Center continues to expand rapidly as one of the regions most advanced and patient-focused hospitals. As a Hyperbaric Technician on our wound care and hyperbaric medicine team youll play a key role in delivering safe high-quality care for patients with complex and chronic wounds.
- Administer Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) to referred patients while ensuring all safety protocols and regulatory standards are met.
- Collaborate with physicians nurses and the hospital safety director to coordinate patient care and maintain operational safety within the hyperbaric program.
- Develop and implement departmental safety procedures providing updates and recommendations to the hospital safety officer and environment of care committee.
- Serve as a technical resource to nurses providers and fellow team members promoting excellence and adherence to best practices in wound and hyperbaric care.

Qualifications
Education
- High School Diploma High School Equivalency (HSE) or Completion of a CHS Approved Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Certificate
Licenses and Certifications
- BLS - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA)
- EMT - Emergency Medical Technician Certification issued by the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians
- RN - Current and valid Registered Nurse license to work within the state of California
- LVN - Current State of California Licensed Vocational Nurse License
- RCP - State of California Respiratory Care Practitioner License
CHT - Certified Hyperbaric Technician preferred within 1 year of hire or transfer into position
