Job Summary

Job Summary

1.Meets with school Principals to address roofing issues such as leaks gutters roof replacements and roof appearances.

2.Supervisesandtrainassignedstaffconductsperformanceevaluations makes employment and discipline recommendations and coordinates work assignments.

3. Conduct school roofing insprections and provide feedback to schools.

4. Plans organizes directs and coordinates roofing replacement and maintenance. Work with roofing personnel schools and service providers.

5. Reviews and monitors work performed by contractors and meets with contractors to resolve problems. Advises the Contract Services Supervisor on service issues and events.

6. Prepares and reviews monthly mainteance and roofing reports to quantify and verify productivity and cost compliance. Evaluates program efficiency and effectiveness.

7. Prepares operating budgets authorizes and monitors expenses and prepares fianancial reports and summaries.

8. Prepares and assists in preparation of reports studies and contract documents.

9. Reviews and provides input on district desgn guidelines drawings and specifications.

10. Assists in the development review implementation and interpretation of departmental policies.

11. Prepares school roofing mainteance schedule to include adverse weather plan.

12. Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education:Bachelors degree preferred in Building ConstructionManagementor related field from an accredited college or university.Experience can be substituted for post-secondary education with a requiredhigh school diploma.

Experience:Required:Four (4)years experiencemanagingplanningand/or coordinating roofing repairs and replacements at a commercial level.

Licensing/Certification/Registration:Avalid Florida drivers license isrequiredprior to appointment and must bemaintainedduring employment.
