ROLE SUMMARY:
Kings College The British School of Alicante is delighted to welcome applications from inspiring and experienced EYFS Teachers to join our outstanding Early Years team from August 2026. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a thriving EYFS provision within one of Spains leading British schools nurturing young learners in a supportive high-achieving environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Deliver high-quality teaching in line with the EYFS Framework and Development Matters
Plan assess and track pupil progress to ensure strong outcomes for all learners
Create an engaging inclusive learning environment (indoors and outdoors)
Support pupils academic social and emotional development
Work collaboratively with colleagues and support staff to maximise impact
Adapt teaching to meet the needs of pupils with EAL
Contribute positively to the wider life of the school
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) (ECT/NQT applicants not suitable)
Minimum of 2 years EYFS teaching experience
Strong knowledge of the EYFS statutory framework
A creative reflective practitioner committed to Quality First Teaching
High standards of professionalism and strong pastoral values
Fluent articulate English (spoken and written)
