Chester-Andover Elementary School is seeking an innovative and collaborative long term substitute teacher with the ability to provide a dynamic learning experience for all students to teach Grade 2 beginning on or around March 10 2026. This is a full-time temporary position Monday-Friday 7:30-3:30pm. The ideal candidate will have Excellent teaching organizational planning written and oral communication and collaboration skills. A strong background in teaching elementary classroom subjects. Classroom management and knowledge of current instructional best practices to effectively differentiate instruction. Strong knowledge of how to use assessment to provide student feedback and inform instruction. Knowledge of technology integration as learning and productivity tools. Student centered focus with a commitment to the success of all students and ability to understand and teach to all learning styles. Deep understanding of social and emotional learning with the ability to create a trauma sensitive classroom.
