Job Summary

The Kinsley Group is seekinga talented and motivated Data Scientist II to join our role is critical inestablishingrobust data governance practices and laying the groundwork forleveragingartificial intelligence (AI) within our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of data structures data quality and reporting and will be passionate about building scalable and usable data solutions that enable advanced analytics and AI-drivensolutionsrecommendationsandinsights.


Key Responsibilities

DataArchitecture&Governance

  • Design implement andmaintaindata governance frameworks to ensure data integrity security and compliance across all data sources.
  • Develop andoptimizedata structures and pipelines to support high-quality reporting and analytics.
  • Evaluate and improve the usability and accessibility of data for business and technical stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to definedatagovernance viadata standards policies and best practices that enable future AI initiatives.
  • Monitor and enhance the quality and accuracy of data outputs proactivelyidentifyingand resolving issues.
  • Develop documentation and training materials to support data literacy and governance across the organization.
  • Ability to communicate complex analytical findings clearly to a variety of stakeholders.
  • Manages initiatives efficiently ensuringtimelydelivery and adherence to project scope andobjectives.


AIFoundationalSolutions& Recommendations

A key responsibility of this position is understanding essential workflows decision-making processes and pain points within business operations toidentifytargeted opportunities where AI can deliver meaningful value to both internal stakeholders and external clients. This includes recommending and implementing AI solutionssuch as automating routine tasks for internal teams or enhancing customer support experiences for clientsthat are central to driving operational efficiency and elevating the overall customer experience.

  • Stay current with industry trends in data management governance and AI technologies.
  • Work with operational teams toinvestigateintegratingsmartsensors SCADAComAppand IoT data from power generation anddistributionassets intoacentralAIdatareadyplatform.
  • Capture and analyze energy consumptionforAIsolutionsaroundproduction and performance data toidentifyopportunities for efficiency improvements and predictive maintenance.
  • Collaboratewith teams to potentiallydevelop AI-driven solutions for outage prediction asset health monitoring and demand response programs.
  • Assistin data integration and quality assurancevia AIforpotentialsmart meter distributed energyresource and customer analytics projects.
  • Skilled in designing and building voice and chatbots to support our workforce.

Qualifications

  • BachelorsorMasters degree in Computer Science Data Science Information Systems ora related field.
  • 2 years of experience in data science data engineering or analytics roles.
  • Strong knowledge of data governance principles data architecture and best practices.
  • Experience working with relational and non-relational databases data modeling and ETL processes.
  • Strongproficiencywith SQL and data management platforms (e.g. Oracle Microsoft SQL Server Azure).
  • Proficiencyin at least one programming language such as JavaPythonand/or R.
  • Experience with data visualization and reporting tools (e.g. Power BI& Microsoft Fabric).
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical teamsto build andmaintainstrong relationships.
  • Ability to workeffectively with cross-functional teams and external partners to achieve common goals.
  • Familiarity with AI and machine learning concepts is a plus.
  • Shows creativity and innovation in problem-solving while understanding the necessary steps and planning to achieve resultswithartificialintelligencesolutions.
  • Possesses the ability to plan and execute strategies effectively to meet project goals and deadlines.
  • Adapts to changing environments and requirementsdemonstratingflexibility and resilience.
