What you will do
As a Quality Control Inspector you will perform functions associated with quality control and quality assurance operations including working with engineers in set-up and calibration tasks and carrying out rework and quality assurance procedures related to production or operations.
- Conduct Incoming/ In-process Quality Control activities associated with components assemblies and/ or electro-mechanical products
- Conduct Final Quality Control Release activities associated with completed customer orders/ products
- Ensure acceptance activities including documentation requirements (depending on the situation this may include review of packaging labeling product literature and/ or revision levels) are met for accepted products
- Work from engineering schematics or blueprints to perform accurate checks and tests; with calibrated gauges tools and equipment
- Comply with all quality regulatory and documentation procedures and policies
- Follow Line Clearance Policy maintaining inspection gear and overall workstation cleanliness and organization
- Provide customer service support to internal customers (Quality Operations Materials Engineering or Divisional teams)
- Interact with internal customers suppliers and other external customers to resolve quality control issues
- Provide inspection technique process or procedure training to others
What you will need

- Meet work schedule and overtime requirements including weekends
- Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force on a frequent basis and/or up to 75 pounds of force occasionally to move objects
Preferred
- High school diploma or GED
- One (1) Year manufacturing experience
- Experience with final quality inspection of assembled products; repairs
$27.50 per hour plus bonus eligible benefits.
