Job Summary and Responsibilities
Responsible for contributing to the health of our community by providing quality services in a compassionate and cost-effective manner.
- Assists in assuring departmental competency and compliance to all regulatory accreditation and hospital standards of care.
- Works in collaboration with the Department Managers and Directors to develop and implement integrated policies and procedures. Ensures that standards and policies and procedures are followed in daily practice.
- Maintains confidentiality of information deemed confidential and takes steps to assure processes that protect confidentiality.
- Participates in the annual general competency assessment program for all employees and volunteers.
- Assists in the provision of general nursing services orientation and unit/job specific nursing orientation.
- Assists in the annual nursing services annual competency based assessment program.

Job Requirements
- Bachelors degree (if candidate does not have a Bachelors Degree candidate must have minimum three years of experience within a healthcare educator role)
- Five years experience in acute health care nursing
- Recent clinical experience
- California RN license
Preferred
- Project/program development experience
