NOW HIRING for 2025-26 PT/Seasonal positions (temporary): On Ice Skate Monitors for the Stockyards Rodeo Rink in Fort Worth Texas from mid-November 2025 through early-January 2026.

Calling all skaters! The Fort Worth Stockyards presents the Stockyards Rodeo Rink northern Texas premier outdoor real ice skating rink for another exciting season! Ice-America is proud to be producing the Rodeo Ice Rink! Skaters are encouraged to apply for this fun and exciting event designed to engage the community during the holiday season!
Looking for strong candidates interested in joining our team in this fun work environment. Applicants must have strong skating abilities and the availability to work during evenings weekends and holidays. Local applicants preferred.
Ice-America a division of Seaside Ice LLC is a creator producer and operator of outdoor temporary ice-skating rinks and an ice event and television production group. We offer rapid deployment of turn-key portable ice rinks and operations in the US and Canada. We can literally make ice overnight and create unique entertainment events for communities businesses and other customers. We are searching for energetic hardworking people to be a part of our team!
We are currently seeking fun enthusiastic men and women for:
SKATE MONITOR: Experienced Figure/Hockey Skaters 16yrs & older. Duties of the position include: Monitoring on-ice safety and ensuring all patrons are following the code of conduct assisting fallen or struggling skaters and responding accordingly to incident or injury. Applicants MUST be trained skaters have their own skates and the ability to skate up to six hours per day. Your resume MUST include your ice skating background to be considered. This is an ON ICE position. Must have strong customer service skills. Compensation for this role starts at $15/hour.
In addition to skating on ice duties can also include;
- Interacting with customers daily and being able to offer solutions to every customers needs.
- Enforcing the code of conduct while looking to engage customers with a memorable experience.
- High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills are required.
- Assisting customers with their online waiver on site and checking them in on an iPad.
- Maintaining the cleanliness of the skate rink and surrounding area.
- Handing out rental skates showing customers how to wear them properly and storing them properly.
- Following clear instructions given by on duty supervision.
