This rolehas the ability todirectly impact business performance through interventions and initiatives that will impactABMemployees at Operational and Supervisory level.
Main accountabilities include:
- Ensuringthe learning and development training records and Skills Matrices are properlyinput and updated.
- Designingimplementationandcompletion of ABM trainingprogrammes.
- Ensuringappropriate policies processes and manuals are incorporated intooperationaltraining material to ensure our operational employees are trained to carry out their job function.
- Deliver operational training inclusive ofon the jobtraining and provide feedback andadditionalsupport to address any areas of low performance.
- Createamendand deliver courses complete with associated paperwork lesson plans exercises all in line with the necessary regulated bodies CAA/DFT
- Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders tofacilitatenew learning techniquesupgradesand enhancements to our training syllabus.
- Supportthe developmentand implementationofdigital learninginnovation.
- Identifyingsynergies with our customers and the business units to ensure best practice and a consistent approach to learning.
- Ensure effective communications within the operations team including regular meetings to share training delivery plans and compliance figures.
- Establish andmaintaingood relationships and lines of communication with clients andairlines.
- Promote a culture of service excellence andmaintaina professional image both personally and corporately champion legendary service
People Management:
- Effectively manage coach and mentor teammembersto meet service level agreements.
- Maintain staff discipline and conformance with Company and regulatory requirementsutilizingthe Company disciplinary process where necessary.
- Ensure all paperwork is managed and processed in line with GDPR (general data protection regulation)
Qualifications and Experience:
- Strong working knowledge of Learning within Aviation.
- Knowledge and familiarity of Safety Operational Compliance protocols.
- Experience inmanaging the full training cycle.
- Knowledgeand experienceoflearningssystemsand L&D reporting.
- Excellentwritten and interpersonal skills.
- Robust collaborative team player with the ability to engage at all levels.
- Output orientated and business focused.
- IT literacy and ability to quickly gain a working knowledge ofnew technology.
