Potential gross earnings up to $1500 - $1800 weekly
PORT Work - Required to obtain a TWIC card (Universal Reimbursement)
Dayshift - 5:00am-5:00pm
Long and short lanes available
All runs areHOME DAILY
Light Touch Freight
Full benefits package
Paid Time Off and Paid Holidays
Flat rate pay - PER LOAD
Consistent year round work

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Operate a Class A commercial vehicle to transport freight to and from customer locations.
Conduct pre-trip en-route and post-trip inspections of the truck and trailer.
Follow all DOT regulations safety procedures and company policies.
Secure and handle freight properly (may include loading/unloading depending on the employer).
Maintain accurate electronic or paper logs delivery records and documentation.
Communicate effectively with dispatch customers and other team members.
Report mechanical issues or safety concerns promptly.
Adhere to schedules while practicing safe driving habits at all times.

REQUIREMENTS:

Must be at least 21 years of age
Prior intermodal experience preferred but not required
Class A CDL
Hazmat preferred. Universal will reimburse if interested in obtaining.
6 months of verifiable on the job experience in the last year
Clean MVR - no more than 2 moving violations in the last 2 years
