MEDICAL ASSISTANT

Adagio Health Inc is looking to hire a full-time Medical Assistant for its Erie PA medical office.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A MEDICAL ASSISTANT

Join our team at Adagio Health and experience the dynamic role of a Medical Assistant! Your day will start with a warm welcome to patients at the front desk where youll excel in phone triage scheduling appointments and making a positive first impression. Youll be at the forefront of patient care taking vitals gathering patient histories and performing venipuncture and injections. Collaborate with our Nurse Practitioners to assist with procedures ensuring top-notch patient care. Your role extends beyond our clinic walls as you facilitate referrals within and outside the organization. At the end of the day youll ensure a seamless patient check-out process.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A MEDICAL ASSISTANT

High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Successful completion of a Medical Assistant or equivalent hospital program or a minimum of one year of direct patient care experience.
Must have basic computer skills and knowledge of medical terminology examination diagnostic and treatment room responsibilities.
Local travel required
