Reporting to the Practice Coordinator Obstetrics this position is skilled to assess plan implement and evaluate to assist the breastfeeding mother to attain her individual goals. The Certified Lactation Counselor functions as a member of a multi-disciplinary health care team as a counselor educator and mentor to nurses and patients and their families.
REQUIREMENTS
1. High school diploma or equivalent is required.
2. Current valid certification as a Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC) through the Academy of Lactation Policy and Practices (ALPP) is required. Maintenance of CLC certification and continuing education is required.
3. Current American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider CPR card is required.
4. Excellent oral and written communication skills are required.
5. Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.

$23.98 - 33.58
