Job Description

I have a client in the Houston TX area with an immediate need for an Survey Party Chief. This role is critical to field operations and is ideal for someone who can step in quickly take ownership of field production and ensure quality survey work from day one.

This is a Temp to possible Perm opportunity with flexibility based on fit and performance. The position is local only with no overnight travel.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage a survey crew in the field
- Oversee daily production accuracy and quality of survey work
- Ensure field work meets project specifications and standards
- Coordinate with office staff and provide field updates
- Maintain responsibility for crew performance and job outcomes

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a Survey Party Chief or Junior Crew Chief
- Strong background in city and municipal survey work (pipeline-only experience not preferred)
- Ability to take full responsibility for field production and quality
- Trimble equipment experience strongly preferred
- Reliable professional attitude with strong leadership skills
- Clean driving record; must be dependable and punctual
