What Youll Do As a Intercompany Truck Driver you will:
- Safely transport materials between four Fluke facilities (Evergreen Way Park Service and Plastics) while meeting delivery schedules.
- Plan routes to optimize efficiency and timeliness.
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical and safety issues; perform basic preventative maintenance.
- Load verify and deliver goods to designated areas following inventory procedures.
- Operate equipment such as forklifts pallet jacks scanners and computers.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Provide backup support for shipping dock operations.
- Follow all safety protocols and comply with public road laws.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Previous warehouse or material handling experience.
- Experience operating forklifts.
- Ability to pass random drug screenings.
- Flexibility to work overtime when needed.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Effective communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with inventory systems and scanning technology.
- Basic mechanical knowledge for vehicle maintenance.
