The opportunity
As a Transfer Pricing Director youll thoroughly and accurately analyze information apply economic/financial knowledge to client situations and develop effective approaches to clients financial circumstances. Subsequently youll take a lead in developing recommendations and implementation plans. Youll also develop and deliver transfer pricing and economic ideas with timely responsive services/work products and identify opportunities for transfer pricing and other special addition youll prepare documentation assist in preparation of APA/MAP filing and prepare documentation to support transfer pricing in audits and develop practical planning services. You will demonstrate dedication to quality in all aspects of your work which will include managing client service team members and contributing to the achievement of team goals.

Your key responsibilities

• Shape and articulate solutions to complex technical problems working with stakeholders from EY client and tax authorities
• High level management of the successful delivery of technically complex and demanding consulting projects ensuring technical excellence and practical / business driven approach taken Designing implementing and defending transfer pricing policies for a broad range of clients
• Assist in managing engagement economics by organizing staffing tracking fees and communicating issues to project leaders
• Participate in business development initiatives
• Build strong internal relationships within the transfer pricing team and across other services

Skills and attributes for success

• Experienced Transfer Pricing tax practitioner
• Proven ability to read and interpret existing and new tax statute
• Understanding of the OECD Transfer Pricing Guidelines and domestic transfer pricing legislation in Ireland and their impact on our clients.
• Strategically and commercially aware
• Effective time management
• Strong managerial organizational project management analytical and verbal/written communication skills
• Excellent communicator in range of situations both written and oral
• Ability to identify areas of risk carry out an effective review and know when to refer upwards

To qualify for the role you must have

• One or more of the following: an advanced degree in economics law finance tax or accounting; a CPA or similar certification
• A minimum of 6 years transfer pricing or similar experience and an understanding of complex transfer pricing concepts
• Fluent in English
