Job Summary
Job Summary (Storeroom Attendant)
- Responsible for daily receiving stocking issuing and cycle counting of inventory at customers location.
- Maintains a professional clean and organized work environment.
- Works 2nd shift: Monday-Friday 3pm-11:30pm with one weekend day required; mandatory overtime currently in place.
- Temp-to-hire opportunity.
- After training will work independently as the only Vallen associate on site.
- Issues parts and materials to customers or staff.
- Assists with inventory cycle counts and receiving items as needed.
- May operate a sit-down forklift; forklift experience preferred.
- Provides excellent customer service; strong communication skills required.
- Uses computers for inventory and documentation; must have basic computer proficiency.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted.
- Required to wear steel toe shoes for safety.
- Must be reliable and dependable to work independently.
- Requires at least 3 months of relevant warehouse or inventory experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
- Must be able to read and interpret work orders safety rules and procedure manuals.
- Basic math skills needed (add subtract multiply divide compute rate/percent).
- Attention to detail and focus on safety are essential.
- Ability to work as part of a team and be self-motivated to achieve goals.
