The System Engineer is responsible for designing implementing and maintaining complex systems within industrial plants.
They collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize plant processes enhance efficiency and ensure reliable operation.
Responsibilities:
- System Design: Develop and design control systems instrumentation and automation solutions for plant equipment and processes.
- Integration: Integrate various subsystems (such as PLCs SCADA DCS) to create a cohesive and efficient plant-wide system.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to plant systems ensuring minimal downtime.
- Process Optimization: Analyze data identify bottlenecks and propose improvements to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
- Maintenance: Oversee system maintenance upgrades and preventive measures. Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety regulations industry standards and environmental guidelines.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelors degree in electrical mechanical or chemical engineering.
Experience:
- Prior experience in industrial automation control systems or process engineering.
Skills:
- Proficiency in PLC programming (e.g. Siemens Allen-Bradley).
- Knowledge of HMI/SCADA systems.
- Familiarity with P&IDs (Process and Instrumentation Diagrams).
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
