Are you ready to play a critical role in delivering Lancashire County Councils strategic change portfolio We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Project Manager to join our Transformation and Improvement Service helping to make Lancashire the best place to live work visit and prosper.

As a Project Manager you will:

  • Take ownership of complex projects from initiation to completion ensuring they are set up for success.
  • Work closely with Senior Responsible Owners (SROs) to deliver projects righton time within budget and to agreed standards.
  • Develop governance frameworks manage risks and maintain project integrity.
  • Coordinate stakeholders and suppliers navigating dependencies and critical stage gates.
  • Champion new initiatives and contribute to the development of our Project Portfolio Management Office (PPMO).

What were looking for:

  • Strong organisational and project management skills with experience delivering large or multiple projects.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills with the ability to build effective relationships across a complex organisation.
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile Waterfall or Hybrid) and business change approaches.
  • Ability to manage budgets resources and risks while maintaining focus on quality and value for money.
