Job Description

The Laboratory Technician II shall be an undergraduate student pursuing a BSc degree with a specialization in chemistry or related discipline with minimal or no relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Complete and document practical training as required.
  • Comply with GMP and Corporate policies.
  • Follow established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Participate in additional practical training as appropriate and ensure documentation is completed.
  • Maintain proficiency in using Microsoft programs (Office Excel PowerPoint).
  • Understand EH&S properties of materials and reagents handled via material specifications and/or SDS; use appropriate PPE.
  • Demonstrate basic knowledge of analytical techniques.

Basic Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program pursuing a BSc in Chemistry or related discipline.
  • Minimal or no prior relevant experience required.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Awareness of EH&S practices and ability to follow safety guidelines.
  • Basic understanding of analytical techniques.
