We are seekingaSoftware Engineerto joinourEchoSounder Team. We encourage both junior and senior developersto apply for this role.You will developingcutting-edgesoftwarefor Ocean Science Fishery and Mapping sectors:
Developingandmaintainingsoftware interfacing with proprietary hydroacoustic sensorswith implementation of complex high-performance algorithms.
Collaboratingwith hardware and firmware teams to ensure system performance and reliability.
Participatingin agile development testing and integrationboth in lab environments and aboard vessels.
Workingwith global software teams to build reusable modules for high-performance applications.
Experiences we believe are important to succeed in this role:
BachelorsorMastersdegree in Computer Science/Applied mathematics/Related technical field OR similar professional experience within this field.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to collaborate in teams but also beingself-going.
Proficiencyinmodernobject-orientedlanguages (e.g.C#/C).
Beneficial with knowledge/experience withMatlab.
Knowledge/experiencewith modern software engineeringmethodologypatternsand tools.
Knowledge/experience in software testing and verification.
Goodlanguage skills in bothNorwegian and English.
Beneficialwith knowledge/experience with hydroacoustic sensors.
