Our challenge

We are seeking a skilled Full Stack Developer to design develop and maintain enterprise-level applications. The role involves working across both front-end and back-end technologies in an Agile environment delivering secure scalable and high-quality solutions for client-facing and internal applications.

Additional Information*

The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other accordance with law the base salary for this role if filled within Vancouver BC is CAD $110k CAD $125k/year & benefits (see below).

The Role

Responsibilities:

• Design develop and implement new features while maintaining existing applications.
• Work across the full technology stack including front-end user interfaces and back-end services.
• Build deploy and maintain REST APIs and microservices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional Agile/Scrum teams.
• Follow DevOps best practices using CI/CD pipelines.
• Ensure application security using modern authentication and authorization protocols.
• Maintain high standards of code quality performance and scalability.

Requirements:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or related field.
• 9 years of proven experience in full-stack development with a focus on front-end-heavy architecture.
• Strong experience in full stack development.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Knowledge of enterprise-level security and authentication (OAuth2 OIDC).
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Experience delivering secure scalable applications.
• Frontend: Angular JavaScript HTML CSS
• Backend: Java 11 Spring Spring Boot
• Databases: SQL MongoDB / NoSQL
• APIs & Services: RESTful APIs Microservices Swagger API Gateway tools (APIGEE)
• DevOps & Tools: Jenkins GitHub JIRA OpenShift

Preferred but not required:

• Experience with cloud platforms.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Passion for innovation and building modern technology solutions.
