Job Description
The Opportunity:
This position will float between all 4 hospital locations at the Plaza Overland Park Lees Summit and North Kansas City.
Shift Details:
This is a Monday through Friday dayshift position working 8-5PM 24 hours per week.Position will require some weekend coverage.
The Work:
- This position is accountable for using Nutrition Care Process (NCP ADIME-assessment diagnosis intervention monitoring and evaluation).
- Develops and oversees the implementation of nutrition interventions/prescriptions for patients with nutrition problems.
- Responsible for coordinating the plan of care/interventions and consulting with other members of the health care team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- The RD demonstrates proficiency in the Standards of Practice and Standards of Professional Performance.
Long Term Care experience as an RD preferred.
