Job Summary
Job Duties:
Research design and develop J2EE applications using database management systems (including Oracle and SQL Server) programming languages (including Java/J2EE) and source code review at an advanced level. Analyze software requirements to determine feasibility of technical design within time and cost constraints and drive projects. Analyze design and document system implementation extension and modifications and ensure compliance to best practices for design and deployment. Review extended code deploy build and collaborate with functional team to validate all changes. Coordinate project development activities such as project estimates scheduling and deliverables. Conduct code reviews for system modifications and development. Review code from source repository for system modifications and development as well as systems management and integration functions and confirm all code checked in appropriate branch based on branching strategy. Conduct requirements gathering functional and technical analysis design feasibility strategy for developing the software product and successfully integrating it into existing systems. Conduct software development in collaboration with technical staff including evaluation of both the integration between hardware and software and the operational and performance requirements of overall systems. Ensure implementation of the following applications: Oracle Retail Xstore Oracle Retail Xoffice Oracle Retail Customer Engagement Oracle Retail Merchandising System Oracle Retail Sales Audit Oracle Retail Price Management System Oracle Retail Analytics and Oracle Retail EFTLink Payment Integrations. Collaborate with offshore team to efficiently complete project deliverables. Develop software system programming and technical design procedures and technical testing and documentation. Collaborate with functional architecture and quality assurance teams to review documentation address issues and support those roles within development lifecycle. Guide troubleshooting and resolution of software issues. Consult with customers concerning technical design and development of software applications and modifications. Maintain and enhance software applications and make necessary modifications including configuration management responsibility for software development and customizations. Review source repository branching strategy for configuration change. Review branching with functional lead /delivery manager to understand impact. Review version strategy for hot fix /patches. Remote work permitted within reasonable commuting distance of the headquarters. (No agencies or phone calls please.)

Must possess 5 years of experience with the following:

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Information TechnologyManagement Information Systems (MIS) Computer Science Mathematics or closely related field and 5 years of progressive experience as a technical engineer or related position.
Must possess 5 years of experience with the following:
- Technical design feasibility development and modification procedures;
- Software system programming and technical documentation;
- Source Code review for system modifications and development as well as systems management and integration functions;
- Requirements gathering functional and technical analysis design feasibility strategy for product development and system integration;
- Database management systems (including Oracle and SQL Server) programming languages (including Java/J2EE) and source code review ;
- Implementing the following applications: Oracle Retail Xstore Oracle Retail Xoffice Oracle Retail Customer Engagement Oracle Retail Merchandising System Oracle Retail Sales Audit Oracle Retail Price Management System Oracle Retail Analytics and Oracle Retail EFTLink Payment Integrations
