YOUR NEW ROLE
Based in our Canberra office this diverse and rewarding role will see you working as part of a national multidisciplinary team delivering high-quality exercise physiology services to clients across personal injury and preventative health schemes.
You will:
- Support clients to restore their physical and mental wellbeing achieve functional goals and return to work or life following injury or illness
- Complete comprehensive assessments and deliver personalised evidence-based exercise programs across a range of settings including gyms pools homes workplaces and community environments
- Apply sound clinical reasoning to develop implement and monitor client-centred plans tailored to their unique goals
- Deliver services in line with the Clinical Framework for the Delivery of Health Services with a strong focus on evidence-based care and client outcomes
- Identify and address physical psychological social and environmental barriers to recovery providing holistic strategies to support return to function and meaningful engagement in life
- Collaborate with other health professionals insurers employers and support networks to ensure cohesive and effective service delivery

RequirementsWHAT YOU NEED TO JOIN US
- Current membership with ESSA as an Accredited Exercise Physiologist
- Current drivers licence and reliable vehicle
- A strong sense of initiative excellent communication skills and a passion for helping others
- A collaborative mindset and willingness to learn
- New graduates welcome - we offer structured onboarding regular supervision and professional development pathways
- SIRA Allied Health Practitioner number (an advantage but not essential)
Youll work with clients across a variety of schemes including:
- Workers Compensation & CTP - Functional capacity programs to support people back to work and life
- NDIS - Exercise and capacity-building programs tailored to participants goals
- Life Insurance - Holistic functional recovery programs designed to promote independence and wellbeing
- Health Coaching - Telehealth coaching to support corporate clients in lifestyle change and chronic disease management
- Pre-employment and Functional Capacity Assessments
