Job Summary
Job Title: Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN)
Location: Palatka FL
Employment Type: Full-Time Permanent
Available Shifts:
- Evenings (Rotating weekends)
- Nights (Rotating weekends)
Role Overview:This role is for an experienced Emergency Room RN in a small acute-care hospital with a 24/7 Emergency Department and ICU support. You will care for patients ranging from minor injuries to emergent and critical cases while working closely with physicians and multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Triage assess and treat ER patients of all acuity levels
- Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes quickly
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Interpret labs diagnostics and vital signs
- Coordinate care with physicians and other departments
- Educate patients and families on conditions treatments and follow-up care
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Support admissions discharges and emergency procedures
- Delegate and supervise support staff as appropriate
Required Qualifications:
- 1 year of Acute Care ER RN experience (required)
- Active Florida RN license or compact multistate license
- Compact nurses must obtain FL license within 60 days if relocating
- Associate Degree in Nursing
- Certifications required within 30 days of start:
- BLS
- ACLS
- PALS
Compensation:
- Hourly Range:
- Entry: $30.60/hr
- Mid-level (10 yrs): $38.25/hr
- Senior (18 yrs): up to $45.90/hr
- Shift Differentials:
- Nights: $4.25/hr
- Weekends: $2.00/hr
- Sign-On Bonus:
- $10000 Day Shift
- $15000 Night Shift
- Relocation Assistance: Available case by case
