Job Responsibilities
- Obtains radiologic and ultrasound exams as ordered by medical staff and maintains related equipment as necessary.
- Maintains the PACS system audit uploads CDS and ensures all radiologic exam paperwork is completed and available to the radiologist.
- Schedules clinic visits for all X-ray services for the entire SCDC.
- Updates x-ray procedures and ensures compliance with IC OSFIA and DHEC requirements including quarterly submission of dosimetry monitors.
- Presents RN orientation related to radiology workflows and procedures.
- Develops and maintains positive working relationships with interdisciplinary managers.
- Provides and supports ultrasound services as ordered ensuring proper maintenance and documentation.

Minimum and Additional Requirements
State of South Carolina Minimum Requirements:
A high school diploma and experience or training within the specific work area.
SCDC Minimum Requirements:
- A high school diploma and registration by the American registry of radiologic technology after completion of approved two (2) year school of radiologic technology.
- Two (2) years experience as X-ray technologist required.
- Typing and administrative skills essential to carry out functions of X-ray clinic.
