We are currently looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician / Engineer to join our manufacturing team. Reporting directly to the Maintenance Supervisor you will play a vital role in ensuring the reliability safety and performance of our machinery and supporting equipment.

Key Responsibilities
As a Maintenance Technician / Engineer you will be responsible for both proactive and reactive maintenance across the site including:
- Developing and delivering Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) schedules
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical electrical hydraulic and pneumatic faults
- Carrying out predictive maintenance using Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives to reduce downtime
- Maintaining accurate service records logs and calibration documentation
- Working with OEMs and external contractors for specialist repairs
- Implementing 5S and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) practices
- Inspecting repairing and maintaining hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Supporting production teams during breakdowns to minimise disruption
- Ensuring full compliance with PUWER LOLER and EHS regulations
- Managing spares technical documentation and equipment manuals
- Training operators on daily checks and basic maintenance tasks

Essential Skills Qualifications/Experience:
- Minimum 3 years experience in a manufacturing maintenance role
- NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical and/or Electrical Engineering
- A proactive can-do attitude with flexibility and adaptability
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
Desirable Skills Qualifications/Experience:
- Experience maintaining CNC or automated machinery (Punch / Press Brake)
- Knowledge of TPM PPM systems and CMMS software
- Ability to read technical drawings schematics and manuals
- Good PC skills (Microsoft Word & Excel)
