Key job responsibilities
- Integration and test of the LEO satellite and various complex subassemblies in a cleanroom and ESD controlled environment
- Rigging and critical lifts of bulky sensitive hardware
- Use precision calibrated tools torque wrenches multimeters optical inspection devices micrometers and calipers
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation
- Perform work according to procedures specifications and test instructions
- Run functional and environmental testing on units
- Use computer software programs for conducting tests
- Collaborate with manufacturing engineers to develop and document activities including continuous improvement opportunities
- Perform other related duties as assigned for the purpose of ensuring an efficient safe and effective work environment

The starting pay for this role in Washington State is up to $37.00/hour and employees are eligible for incremental raises based on tenure. A day in the life
The Integration Technician III will work closely with cross-functional engineering test quality and operations teams on both first-article hardware development and production hardware integration processes. This position requires skill and experience in a variety of areas including mechanical assembly avionics integration rigging electrical checkouts and environmental short you will be responsible for a majority of the most critical tasks to build the LEO satellite ensuring high quality workmanship and safety standards are adhered to on a daily basis.
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 3 years experience in mechanical or electrical hardware assembly test and/or installation
- Ability to use precision measuring instruments
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Experience in the aerospace industry automotive industry medical device industry aviation military or other high-reliability operating environment
- Experience in a fast-paced production environment
- Experience working with FOD ESD sensitive hardware and clean room requirements
- Experience with forklifts cranes and heavy equipment (including previous certifications)
- A demonstrated ability in reading/understanding technical drawings work instructions and standard operating procedures
- Some basic knowledge of electrical optical and mechanical systems antennas functional testing and/or satellite components
- Ability to use multiple types of precision measuring instruments
- Ability to rapidly change roles/responsibilities while working in a high-paced challenging work environment

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $71760/year in our lowest geographic market up to $80080/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
