As a Sourcing Manager for ARKET Café you will translate our café concept into sourcing needs secure a reliable supply chain and optimize costs while maintaining quality and sustainability. This role combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution in a dynamic global environment.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
What you will do:
- Select and manage suppliers producers and wholesalers for existing and new markets.
- Develop purchase plans to support growth and profitability across all sales channels.
- Negotiate contracts and monitor supplier performance and compliance.
- Maintain product pricing and article updates in the ARKET Café database.
- Drive sourcing projects and continuous improvements in line with our sourcing process.
- Build strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
WHO YOULL WORK WITH
You will collaborate closely with the Café Operations Manager Global Business Manager Café Coordinators Creative Lead and regional café teams across multiple markets. Youll also work with cross-functional teams within ARKET to ensure alignment on strategies.
WHO YOU ARE
We are looking for people with
- Experience in sourcing or buying. Café restaurant or food industry is a bonus
- Interest in café and food trends
- Familiarity with FMCG and/or international markets
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills
- Fluent in English (verbal and written)
- Understanding of compliance traceability and certification requirements
And people who are
- Self-driven and comfortable working in a small fast-paced team.
- Curious and adaptable with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Collaborative and inclusive thriving in cross-functional environments.
- Business-minded and action-oriented with a strong sense of ownership.
- Passionate about food and sustainability.
- Open-minded and willing to learn continuously.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
This is a full-time temporary contract based at our Head Office in Stockholm starting as soon as possible for one year.
