What Youll Be Doing

As a Senior Bridge Engineer youll not only be designing cutting-edge structures but also helping to drive business growth and manage multidisciplinary teams. Heres a snapshot of what youll be involved in:

• Leading and undertaking assignments across the UK and internationally; delivering on time on budget and to the highest standards
• Undertaking structural design and analysis using high-end analysis and design software across a broad range of structural types and using various international standards
• Assisting in the management of the design process that may include other related design disciplines
• Coordinating design as part of an internal team and liaising with external associated professionals and our clients
• Managing project time budgets and resources ensuring everything stays on track
• Overseeing and mentoring junior engineers supporting their professional development and Chartership progress
• Collaborating with internal and external teams in a cross-functional environment

Qualifications :

What Were Looking For

We need a strong technical engineer with leadership capabilities who is ready to make an impact on some of the worlds most exciting and complex projects. Ideally youll bring:

• A Chartered Civil Engineer qualification with a post-graduate qualification in a relevant subject
• Working knowledge of structural processes and design with a particular emphasis on data interpretation design & analysis construction and advanced numerical modelling
• Extensive knowledge of Eurocodes and other national and international industry standards contracts methodologies procedures and best practice
• Experience working on major bridge construction and modern bridge erection works and construction techniques would be considered advantageous
• Experience with structural analysis software like LUSAS Midas RM Bridge
• Strong communication skills with a talent for producing clear high-quality written work
• The ability to thrive in fast-paced environments handling changing priorities while keeping quality high
• A collaborative approach with a focus on successful delivery for our clients
