Job Opening: Permanent Physician - OB/GYN in Brattleboro VT
Join a dedicated team at a community-based facility in Brattleboro Vermont where you will provide full-spectrum womens health care in a collaborative and supportive environment. You will be a part of a physician-respected practice that prioritizes the well-being of both patients and staff offering flexible scheduling and an excellent quality of life.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive obstetrics and gynecology care to a diverse patient population.
- Manage gynecologic consults from primary care providers and midwives.
- Perform a variety of office-based gynecologic procedures.
- Maintain a steady surgical volume with access to three new operating rooms.
- Participate in minimally invasive and advanced laparoscopic surgeries.
- Work 34 clinic days per week seeing approximately 1214 patients daily.
- Utilize an average of three dedicated OR days monthly.
- Provide physician backup for midwife-led obstetric care.
- Participate in manageable home call shared among physicians (1 in 4 rotation).
- Support a birth center offering various services including VBACs and water births.
- Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals.
- Practice evidence-based OB/GYN care in a supportive state.
- Engage in a practice with low turnover ensuring stability and continuity.
Qualifications:
- MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
- Board Certified or TRULY Board Eligible in OB/GYN.
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited OB/GYN residency program.
- Clean malpractice history with no complications.
- Active Vermont medical license (to be obtained prior to start).
License and Certification Requirements:
- MD or DO degree Required
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB/GYN Required
- Clean malpractice history Required
- Most recent NPDB Self Query Report (within 30 days active) Required
- Active Vermont License (must be obtained prior to start) Required
- Permanent Placement Fee acknowledgment Required
