The Boeing CompanyBoeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking an Associate Manufacturing Operations Analyst (Level 2) to join the Boeing Salt Lake team in Salt Lake City Utah.
The Innovation Cell team provides advanced technical knowledge and leadership to manufacturing projects focusing on enhancing organizational efficiency through innovation and process improvement. This role is responsible for designing and manufacturing shop hardware 3D prints creating shop aids and developing various improvement products. The position requires strong problem-solving analytical and project management skills to deliver innovative solutions and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Position Responsibilities:
Create shop hardware 3D printed components shop aids and other improvement products to support manufacturing operations
Apply process management and improvement techniques to resolve production concerns and enhance efficiency
Use advanced technical knowledge to lead and support manufacturing projects
Gather data conduct analyses and develop recommendations for implementing new systems and processes
Work with teams and lead problem resolution and process improvement initiatives
Develop and maintain relationships with customers stakeholders peers and partners
Manufacture assembly and fabrication shop hardware and shop aids using manual and computer-controlled machines hand tools and complex equipment
Design shop hardware and aids per customer requests using computer or paper-based design processes
Manage projects across functional areas ensuring objectives are met within scope time quality and constraints from initiation to completion
Prepare analyze coordinate integrate and maintain project plans and initiatives
Manage change to processes and communicate decisions and best practices to stakeholders
Coordinate ongoing projects serve as a liaison between cross-functional teams and document lessons learned
Work with customers to plan provide documentation and transition projects for ongoing support
Coordinate activities across multiple functions to resolve emergent operational issues and support implementation of strategies and plans
Conduct process assessments against standards provide feedback and identify opportunities for improvement
Adapt effectively to changes in work tasks structures and culture while encouraging innovative problem-solving and facilitating change acceptance
Plan and organize work by involving stakeholders anticipating critical events assigning responsibilities and monitoring progress to ensure timely completion
Apply knowledge of an array of manufacturing and assembly processes shop safety (including FOD ESD) and quality standards to support operations
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
1 years of experience working with detailed work instructions or reading and interpreting blueprints and drawings
1 years of experience in a role that required analytical communication and problem-solving skills
1 years of experience in collaborative problem solving building lasting relationships & proficiency in written and verbal communication
1 years of experience working in cross-functional teams
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
1 years of experience in the aerospace fabrication or manufacturing environment
Experience leading teams in a formal and/or informal role
General knowledge of hand tools and shop equipment
