Job Summary
Job Title: Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN)
Location: Panama City FL
Employment Type: Permanent Full-Time
Shift: Nights Rotating Weekends
Compensation & Incentives
Base Pay: $27.72 $39.60/hour (based on experience)
Night Shift Differential: $4.00/hour
Sign-On Bonus: $15000 (Night Shift)
Relocation Assistance: Available on a case-by-case basis
Position Overview
The Emergency Room Registered Nurse provides high-acuity fast-paced emergency care to patients across the lifespan. This role requires strong clinical judgment adaptability and the ability to multitask in a collaborative and supportive emergency department environment.
Responsibilities
Triage assess and treat patients of all ages
Deliver rapid evidence-based nursing care in emergent situations
Manage multiple patients while continuously prioritizing care needs
Develop and implement individualized patient care plans
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams
Provide patient education discharge instructions and follow-up guidance
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Ensure patient safety quality standards and regulatory compliance
Required Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Department RN experience (within the past year)
ICU or PCU experience may be considered with a strong critical care background
Active Florida RN license or multistate compact license (or ability to obtain prior to start)
Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma
BLS required prior to start
ACLS PALS and Nonviolent Crisis Intervention required within 90 days of hire
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Strong triage and high-acuity emergency care experience
Proven ability to perform effectively in high-pressure fast-paced environments
