The primary responsibility of the Retina Photographer is to capture photographic documentation of the back of the eye. Appropriate licensing or certification as required by state regulations and/or governing boards may allow duties to include the administration of fluorescein injection. Additional duties may include but not limited to performing the duties and responsibilities of a clinical ophthalmic or retina technician. Responding to front office requests and working in partnership with all clinical office departments to promote a cooperative and supportive practice setting to positively impact the patient experience is expected.
