SUMMARY OF DUTIES
As an Adult Protective Services Supervisor you will:
Direct and supervise employees and programs in a team environment. The employees supervised by this position provide adult protective services within Washington County. This position also utilizes detailed knowledge of local community resources to maximize effective service delivery for clients and to integrate APD programs in the community. This position uses program and technical knowledge and skills and abilities to plan organize and monitor the operations of a team of employees.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Four years of lead work supervision or progressively related experience;
OR
One year of related experience and a bachelors degree in behavioral science or human services.

WORKING CONDITIONS
May be required to work a flexible work schedule as a condition of employment. This is understood to mean that the hours of work may vary from day to day and could include evenings and weekends under certain circumstances. Work schedule specifics will be determined by the hiring supervisor. Work is based in the Beaverton and will work out of the Tigard APD Office as well. May drive a variety of different types of vehicles to remote places in a variety of terrain and possibly inclement weather. A valid drivers license is required and a clean driving record.
