Job Summary
The Department of Anesthesiology and Pain Management at UT Southwestern Medical Center is seeking a highly motivated Academic General Anesthesiologist to join our expanding team. This position offers a unique opportunity to provide a wide variety of anesthesia care while contributing to the departments academic research and teaching missions. Position HighlightsProvide anesthesia care for a broad range of surgical procedures across multiple specialties and obstetric care including labor analgesia and cesarean high-quality perioperative care and ensure patient safety throughout the surgical and teach residents fellows and medical students in both clinical and didactic in departmental academic activities such as research quality improvement and scholarly in collaborative multidisciplinary clinical care across the DO or equivalent certification or board eligibility in Anesthesiology (ABA or equivalent).Obstetric Anesthesiology fellowship trainingEligible for medical licensure in the state of interest in education scholarship and academic to excellence in patient care teamwork and professional with subspecialty training in cardiothoracic pediatric regional neurosurgical or transplant anesthesia as well as critical care pain management hyperbaric medicine and perioperative medicine are welcome to apply.
