Job Requirements

Bachelors degree in Engineering or higher qualification in Mechanical Metallurgy Electrical Instrumentation or equivalent discipline based on project scope.
-
Minimum 5 years of experience in QA/QC Inspection and Testing activities within Fabrication Manufacturing and Construction in the Oil & Gas / Petrochemical industry.
-
Strong knowledge of:
-
Ball valves non-ball valves control valves shut-off valves
-
Subsea pressure-reducing valves
-
Flow meters and related equipment across electrical instrumentation and piping disciplines
-
Knowledgeable in rotating equipment static equipment pumps pressure vessels etc.
-
Experience reviewing quality documents including:
-
Inspection & Test Plans (ITP)
-
Welding Procedures
-
NDT inspection and testing reports
-
Mill Test Certificates (MTC)
-
Familiar with international codes and standards: AWS ASME API EN ISO etc.
-
Experience working with major international clients such as TOTAL ExxonMobil ENI Shell Chevron CNOOC COOEC etc.
-
Good interpersonal organizational and communication skills.
-
Proficient in English (written and spoken).
Certifications (Mandatory / Priority)

AWS CWI or CSWIP 3.1 (minimum)
-
ASNT NDT Level II (PT / MT / RT / UT)
Key Responsibilities
-
Review and approve quality documents (ITP Welding Procedures NDT procedures test reports MTCs).
-
Maintain and implement the Project Inspection Plan.
-
Assess and audit vendors quality management systems.
-
Arrange and participate in Pre-Inspection Meetings (PIM) and Pre-Production Meetings (PPM).
-
Perform progressive and final inspections during manufacturing.
-
Coordinate and administer COOEC third-party inspection services including:
-
Reviewing inspector CVs
-
Managing inspection schedules
-
Reviewing inspection outputs
-
Review and distribute inspection reports and highlight NCRs or deficiencies.
-
Support requisitioners on QA/QC and inspection requirements.
-
Prepare inspection reports inspection release notes NCRs etc.
-
Provide technical support for welding NDT and QA/QC activities.
-
Support project management procurement QA HSE and installation teams.
-
Willing to travel locally and overseas as required.
