Summary of Job Duties:

***This position is located in the UAMS Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine Clinic (W. Van Asche Loop) in Fayetteville AR and Bentonville AR***


The Rehab Therapy Aide is an essential healthcare team member providing valuable assistance to Physical Therapists Athletic Trainers Strength and Conditioning coaches and Chiropractors in delivering top-notch patient care. They play a crucial role in the rehabilitation process supporting patients throughout their recovery journey. The Rehab Therapy Aide is committed to ensuring patient comfort and safety creating a positive and encouraging environment. Their dedication to patient care significantly impacts the lives of those seeking physical therapy.


Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • HS diploma/GED
  • One (1) year of patient care administrative customer service or related experience

Knowledge Skills & Abilities:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Detail-oriented and responsible for maintaining a clean and organized work environment
  • Ethical and professional conduct


Additional Information:

Responsibilities:

  • Cleaning equipment and therapy areas after each patient
  • Checks in patients and gathers necessary patient information
  • Follows scheduled treatment plan and coordinates follow-up therapy visits

Salary Information:

$15.00 hourly
