Location: Plano TX
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: DAYS - 10HRS: 6:30 AM - 5 PM
Pay Rate: $65$75/hour
Position Summary
A leading healthcare facility in Plano TX is seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist with a strong Neuro Interventional Radiology background to support a Comprehensive Stroke Center. This position is ideal for a highly skilled technologist who performs well in a fast-paced trauma-designated environment and is comfortable with significant on-call responsibilities.
Required Qualifications
Certified Interventional Radiology Technologist (IR Tech)
25 years of Neuro Interventional Radiology experience (required)
Comprehensive Stroke Center experience (required)
Demonstrated experience supporting Neuro IR Vascular and General IR procedures
Ability to meet a 30-minute on-call response time
Willingness to take frequent call in a Trauma Level II facility
Key Responsibilities
Assist physicians with Neuro Vascular and General IR procedures
Support acute and elective stroke interventions within a Comprehensive Stroke Center
Maintain sterile technique and ensure patient and procedural safety
Operate IR imaging equipment for routine and emergent cases
Respond promptly to emergency call coverage within established response times
Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams in high-acuity settings
