Job Summary
Our client in New Boston MI is seeking Working Supervisors their rail transport yard. The working supervisors must have previous experience as a Supervisor or Team Lead as well as a valid drivers license and it is preferred that you are able to drive a manual transmission car. Working Supervisors will be supervising the shuttle drivers rail prep workers and rail loaders in their job duties. Working Supervisors are required to be safety conscious have good deductive reasoning and computer skills.
Location:
- In the New Boston MI area.
Responsibilities:
- Organizing and scheduling staff and directing the day-to-day operations of all functions.
- Ensuring the quality of moving preparing & loading/unloading of vehicles onto out-bound trains and inbound trains through efficient productivity of the work crews.
- This position coordinates the activities of all crews under the direction of the Terminal Manager to ensure a well-coordinated productive operation.
