The Headteacher of this highly prestigious and academically selective Boys Grammar School in Chelmsford is seeking to appoint an outstanding Design & Technology Teacher to join a successful and well-established DT department from January. Design & Technology is a respected and strategically important subject within the school supporting the development of problem-solving engineering thinking and technical precision alongside strong academic outcomes.

This is an excellent opportunity for a DT Teacher who enjoys teaching highly motivated articulate students in a selective academic environment. You will teach Design & Technology across KS3 and KS4 with GCSE teaching central to the role and scope to contribute to enrichment or advanced pathways depending on experience. Specialisms in Product Design Resistant Materials Engineering or Graphics are all welcomed.
