Music Teacher (ECT) – Secondary School – Peterborough

The Headteacher of this well-led and supportive secondary school in Peterborough is seeking to appoint a committed and enthusiastic Music Early Career Teacher (ECT) to join a creative and growing Music department from January. Music is a valued subject within the school contributing to student confidence self-expression and wider engagement with school life.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Music ECT who is looking for a strong start in the profession with high-quality mentoring clear expectations and a supportive departmental culture. The Music department works collaboratively to share resources plan effectively and support new staff.

You will teach Music across KS3 and KS4 delivering practical and theory-based lessons that help students develop musical skills confidence and enjoyment. There will also be opportunities to contribute to extracurricular music including performances clubs and whole-school events.
