Position:System Engineer - Plant Systems (Power Generation)

Structure: Contract 12 months to start
Pay:Up to $65.00 p/h inc.

Requirements:
Skills:
- Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of engineering principles plant systems and equipment relevant to power generation (nuclear hydroelectric or thermal).
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex technical problems interpret data and develop effective solutions.
- Problem-Solving: Skilled in troubleshooting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for preparing reports and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
- Project Management: Capable of managing multiple priorities planning tasks and meeting deadlines.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in technical work and documentation.
- Teamwork: Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with operations maintenance and regulatory staff.
- Safety Awareness: Commitment to safety culture regulatory compliance and best practices in the nuclear industry.
Experience:
- Minimum 25 years of relevant engineering experience in power generation utilities or a related industrial environment.
- Experience with system engineering design engineering maintenance operations or project engineering is preferred.
Professional designations or licenses:
- Professional Engineer (.) designation in Ontario is preferred; however candidates who are eligible and actively pursuing their . designation in the near future are also encouraged to apply.
