Job Title: Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist
Location: Hartford Connecticut USA
Job Type: Contract (13 weeks potential extension)
Shift: 5x8s (8:00 AM 4:30 PM) one call weekend per month
Role Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team in Hartford CT. The ideal candidate will perform high-quality IR procedures while ensuring patient safety adherence to protocols and efficient workflow. The technologist will collaborate with the clinical team maintain equipment and ensure compliance with safety infection-control and radiation standards.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform IR procedures according to established exam protocols in a timely manner.

Communicate effectively with patients and families using AIDET techniques.

Prepare patients and procedure areas including positioning immobilization and equipment setup.

Maintain safety and infection-control standards utilizing proper sterile techniques.

Operate and maintain imaging equipment reporting issues and coordinating with engineers/physicists.

Manage and maintain accurate clinical documentation and imaging records.

Ensure compliance with radiation safety protocols and departmental policies.

Participate in inventory management for IR supplies and radiopharmaceuticals.
Qualifications / Requirements:

ARRT License (mandatory)

Minimum 1 year of relevant IR experience

U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder

Ability to work independently and as part of a clinical team

Willingness to take call one weekend per month
