Job Summary:
This role focuses on providing respiratory care and neuro diagnostic services to patients with conditions such as CHF COPD Pneumonia and Respiratory Failure. The specialist will manage ventilators perform ABG sampling administer medications and provide pulmonary hygiene. The position requires experience in adult critical care and the ability to float between long-term care and acute care settings.

Responsibilities:
- Perform ABG sampling
- Manage ventilators (Hamilton Vent Servo-U NKV330 V60)
- Conduct patient assessments
- Administer medications
- Provide pulmonary hygiene
- Assist with extubation and intubation
- Place and manage nasal and oral airways
- Perform oral and nasal suctioning
- Collect sputum specimens
- Perform suctioning (ETT NT)
- Provide tracheostomy care and management
- Administer handheld T-piece and trach collar treatments
- Use bag and mask for ventilation
- Manage ET tubes and high flow nasal cannula (HFNC)
- Administer BiPAP and CPAP
- Troubleshoot high-pressure alarms
- Wean patients from mechanical ventilation
- Float from LTC to Acute care as needed

Scheduling:
- Night shift: 6:30 PM 7:00 AM
- 8-week contract
- Weekend Coverage: Every Other Weekend (EOW)
- 6 weekend shifts per 13-week contract
